Religion has always been highly influencing factor to human minds. Some intellectuals and scientists argue that religion will be of less importance to coming generations.

Definitely some rituals and ceremonies have completely disappeared from the world due to increased scientific outlook of modern man. But still the desire to go beyond the trivial things has become more intense in the current world and these higher forms of desires are rising in humanity.

Modern men are highly charged with stress and disappointment in life. A part of these people are finding relief and solace in religion through meditations and yoga. A day is not far away when the whole humanity will derive its strength from religion and religion will have universal applicability.

It can be said that religion is moving towards its subtle values and forms. And if this continues, religion will be far more prevalent and more influential than any past periods.
